cAP STONE

    About tHE cAP sTONE pROJECT

Illuminated from within after dark, this installation shines like a lantern in tribute to four of Fredericton's defining architectural highlights.

The physical reliefs are available as a hands-on experience for visitors to touch, trace and make rubbings or prints from, encouraging people to take a piece of the city home with them.

The designs minimize the buildings’ size to what can be held or cradled, inferring that a city's heritage belongs to its people and survives through their care.
